Donald A. "Don" McCue
November 24, 1932 - October 17, 2024
Donald A. “Don” McCue, 91, of Plymouth Meeting, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at his home with his loving family. He was the husband of Stephanie (Wisochanski) McCue, sharing 31 years of marriage.
Born on November 24, 1932, he was the son of the late Harold and Anna (Armstrong) McCue. Don graduated from Kennett Square High School, and he was a proud member of the United States Army. He retired from Campbell Soup as a factory worker. Don was a farm boy, growing up working on his family farm. In the fall and winter months he loved to hunt and snow mobile and enjoyed spending time at his place in the mountains. He was a huge Philadelphia Flyers fan, and he was a lifetime member of the VFW in Downingtown. Don loved to spend time with his family, most especially when they were all able to go camping together.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children Mark McCue, Donna McCue, Debrah McCue Gosnell (Glen), Clara Welsh (Scott), Donald L. McCue (Patricia), step-daughter Jennifer Atkinson; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sister Carolyn Rispoli. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Leona Gibson McCue, and his brother Andrew McCue.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 11 AM at East Brandywine Baptist Church, 999 Horseshoe Pike, Downingtown, PA 19335. Viewing will be from 10 – 10:45 AM prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
Don’s expressed wishes are that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Downingtown VFW Post #845, 4601 Lincoln Highway, Downingtown, PA 19335.
